Creating a Bottled Fantasy Kingdom in the Palm of Your Hand - The Environment Art of Dawn of Titans
The aim of this talk is to show the process behind the creation of the Environment Art for Dawn of Titans. I would like to demonstrate how through following artistic process, constantly innovating techniques and managing a passionate and creative team you can create high quality 3D art on mobile. Specifically I will show some of the environments used in the game and how we achieved the results. I will aim to break down some examples to show how we continually improved on our work throughout development. I will also touch on how we manage our art team to encourage ownership, creativity and self improvement.
