Talk abstract:

How can user interface (UI) design enhance the stories our games tell and player immersion? Does bad UI present a hidden cost? What does incorporating accessibility through UI mean to our players' experiences? Using hands-on examples, we'll see how user interfaces can be so much more than critical messages, popups, menus, and mundane vessels for information.

Audience:

Accessible and understandable for all levels of experiences and roles in the games industry.
