I was a well-known games journalist from 1998 to 2007. I founded two (print) publications, the German version of GamePro and the game developer magazine Making Games and was Editor-in-Chief of GameStar, then Europe's biggest PC-Gaming magazine. In 2007, I made the move from print to online, taking on a business role, leading GameStar.de to become Germany's biggest editorial gaming portal. In 2011 I left web publishing for the games industry and became Head of PR at the online games category leader Gameforge, accepting responsibility for global Public Relations, Events and Sponsorships and the company's portal (gameforge.com). In early 2012 I joined flaregames, a startup focused on free to play mobile games, taking on the role of Communications Director. In late 2013 I founded my own PR agency in Berlin. Hooray! I have won a few awards, speak regularly at conferences and wrote a book on parenting, of all things.
